All dietary requirements can be catered for. Please make me aware of these when you initially request any orders so I can lead you towards the best option. 

The Cakes by Christina Brierwood studio uses certain allergens, including nuts and gluten. Every effort will be made to guarantee no cross contamination, but traces of these cannot be guaranteed. Some of the cakes pictured on the website are gluten, lactose, or nut free. I’ll let you guess which ones they are! Your guests will never know.

For a guide to cake sizes and portions please refer to the table below. This is for round cakes (not for square or shaped cakes). Prices will vary due to the bespoke design of each cake.

If you are interested in having a ‘Cakes by Christina Brierwood’ wedding cake please ask for the pricing and sizing information.

After a discussion of what you want from the cake, I will send you some design options with the cost of each of the cakes. Then you choose which you love the most, with an opportunity to add aspects from each of the sketches or additional ideas. This vision then turns into your cake.

Make sure to order your cake with plenty of notice to avoid disappointment. I recommend getting in touch 3-4 weeks at least before you need the cake. If you need to order with less notice, please do get in touch as I will try my best to fit your cake in around other orders!

When ordering please make sure to include-

1. Your name and contact details
2. Ideas for the design of the cake
3. What flavours you might like
4. How many people the cake needs to feed
5. If there are any dietary requirements
6. When the cake is needed for
7. If the cake is to be delivered, and the address of the delivery

Payments are to be made using bank transfer. The bank details will be sent to you on your invoice. Please contact me if you have any problems finding these, or any questions.

A non refundable deposit is taken to start the design process, and secure the date for when your cake is needed. This is £50 for celebration cakes, and £100 for wedding and larger cakes.

Please ensure that the full amount is paid before the collection/delivery day of your order. Wedding cakes and larger cakes need to be paid in full a month before your collection/ delivery.

Delivery is recommended for most cakes, but collection from SW4 is possible. All multi-tiered cakes must be delivered, as they will be built on site by Christina. No responsibility is taken for the cake once it has left Christina.

Delivery starts at £15. If your delivery location requires driving through the congestion charge £15 will be added to your delivery price. Please send the postcode of your delivery address to be given a quote. Delivery outside of London is possible.

Please arrange the timing of your delivery/collection when making your order.

Tastings are available for wedding cakes and some larger celebration cakes. Up to 3 guests may attend and 3 flavours may be tasted. Appointments last about an hour and are a fantastic way to collaborate on ideas for the design and flavours of the cake. There is an additional charge for this service.
